Privacy
This site collects the minimum it needs: your email address if you subscribe, and the questions you ask the chat. This notice explains what is stored, who processes it, how long it is kept, and how to have it corrected or deleted.

This notice covers this website and the records kept by Brian Sparker, who runs this personal website.
Newsletter subscriptions
When you subscribe, Sparker stores your email address, consent state, signup source, and the relevant timestamps. A confirmation email is required before the subscription becomes active. Resend processes email delivery and receives the address after confirmation.
Every newsletter includes an unsubscribe link. Unsubscribing updates the Sparker record immediately and requests the same status from the email delivery provider.
Chat and agent questions
Questions asked through the chat on this site, the /api/ask endpoint, or the MCP server are stored with the answer and its sources, so Brian can see what people and agents ask and improve the writing. Each conversation is linked to a one-way hash of the caller’s IP address, used only for rate limits; the address itself is not stored. If you ask for an answer by email, your address is stored and used only for that. Don’t put anything in a question that you would not want read.
Infrastructure and spam protection
The website and structured records are hosted using Cloudflare. Cloudflare Turnstile may process technical information needed to distinguish legitimate submissions from abuse. IP addresses are not stored in subscriber or chat records.
Analytics
Sparker uses privacy-oriented, aggregate web analytics to understand visits and high-level actions such as subscription confirmations. The site does not use advertising trackers.
Your choices
You may request access, correction, or deletion of information you submitted by emailing brian@sparker.ai.
Changes
Material changes to this notice will receive a new effective date. Questions may be sent to brian@sparker.ai.
